Information you submit
When you use the converter, Y2Mate processes the YouTube URL you submit so it can identify the video and request the selected format. When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, topic, and message so we can review and reply.
Automatically processed information
The service may process standard request information such as an IP address, browser user agent, request time, referring page, security headers, and country code supplied by the delivery network. This information supports security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, and reliable delivery.
Cookies and local browser data
Y2Mate uses an encrypted session cookie to keep the steps of a download connected and secure. It is not used to create a public user profile. Cloudflare Turnstile may process additional signals to help distinguish visitors from automated traffic under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.
Video and download information
Public video details, such as the title, creator, and thumbnail, may be kept for up to 30 days so the same information does not need to be requested repeatedly. Information needed to complete a download is temporary and normally expires within minutes after processing.
Services that help complete downloads
Y2Mate sends the video ID and selected format to services that help create the requested file. A country code may also be used to check which video options are available. These services process only the information needed to handle the request.
Contact messages
Contact messages are delivered to contact@y2mate.sx through the configured mail service. They may be retained as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, document a legal notice, prevent abuse, or comply with applicable obligations.
Data sharing
Information may be processed by hosting, security, email, video-information, and download services that help Y2Mate operate. Y2Mate does not sell personal information or contact form messages.
Security and retention
Y2Mate uses HTTPS, encrypted sessions, security checks, usage limits, and expiring download links to protect the service. No online service can promise absolute security. Information may be kept longer when reasonably needed to prevent abuse, investigate an incident, or meet a legal obligation.
